Location and tracking
AMGPS Echo D/E is embedded with GPS, it doesn’t support GLONASS or alternative systems.
There are only two basic tracking modes, which do not provide too much flexibility: by time interval and by distance.
As the back-up, when no satellites signals are available, it uses Cell ID location (also known as LBS-tracking).
Mobile networks
AMGPS Echo D/E has a Quad-band GSM 2G that allows to operate it all over the world.
Local and remote management
AMGPS Echo D/E can be fully controlled over GPRS. There is also a wide list of SMS commands in a human-friendly format, on which device always replies back. It supports remote APN settings configuration by SMS.
LED Indication
AMGPS Echo D/E has three LED indicating:
- Power status
- GSM/GPRS mode
- GPS signal reception
