# Registro estendido

Às vezes os dispositivos não funcionam com a plataforma como esperado. Os problemas podem ter naturezas diferentes e, na maioria dos casos, estão relacionados a um dispositivo específico, a um modelo específico ou a firmware não padrão.

Nesses casos, logs avançados podem ser excepcionalmente úteis. Neles você pode acompanhar todos os detalhes da operação do dispositivo na plataforma.

Para ativar logs estendidos, faça o seguinte:

1. Edite o `config.properties` arquivo de **tcp-server**:

* Linux: `/home/java/tcp-server/conf/config.properties`
* Windows: `C:\java\tcp-server\conf\config.properties`

2. Adicione a seguinte linha ao final do config (substitua `<IMEI>` pelo IMEI real do dispositivo):

```
debug.traceDevices=<IMEI>
```

Para múltiplos IMEIs:

```
debug.traceDevices=<IMEI1>,<IMEI2>
```

exemplo:

```
debug.traceDevices=33225566,44772211
```

4. Reinicie o **tcp-server** serviço. Isso aplicará a configuração e criará um `/debug` subdiretório em `.../tcp-server/log/`.
5. Aguarde pelos problemas ou os acione
6. Verifique o `/log/debug` diretório. Ele conterá um(s) arquivo(s) chamado(s) `trace-<IMEI>.log`.
7. Pare o registro estendido quando não for mais necessário, caso contrário novos logs continuarão consumindo espaço em disco. Para isso, comente a linha adicionada anteriormente (com o símbolo `#` ) ou exclua-a e então reinicie **tcp-server**.
