# Horas de motor

Active las Horas de motor eligiendo una Fuente de ignición o una fuente de datos del bus CAN y estableciendo un valor inicial; luego use el contador para activar Recordatorios de Mantenimiento.

Horas de motor es una herramienta que permite a los propietarios de vehículos y maquinaria especial monitorear el tiempo de funcionamiento del motor y programar [trabajos de mantenimiento](/docs/user/es/guide/fleet-management/maintenance.md) con base en estos datos.

Para activar Horas de motor:

1. Abra [Dispositivos](/docs/user/es/guide/devices-and-settings.md), seleccione el objeto que necesita y vaya a **Horas de motor** .
2. Haga clic en el botón **Agregar horas de motor** botón.
3. Elija una fuente de datos: ignición o horas de motor del bus CAN.
4. Establezca el valor inicial de las horas de motor (de 0 a 99.999.999 horas, hasta 2 decimales).
5. Haga clic en **Guardar**.

A diferencia de la [Odómetro](/docs/user/es/guide/devices-and-settings/location-and-movement/odometer.md)las horas de motor tienen **ningún multiplicador de corrección**.

Para mostrar los datos de horas de motor en el **Seguimiento** módulo, agregue el **widget de Horas de motor** a la barra de widgets en la parte inferior de la pantalla. Solo haga clic en el **+** botón en la esquina superior derecha de la barra de widgets y agregue el **widget de Horas de motor**.

## Disponibilidad

Aparece en los modelos de dispositivo que reportan datos de ignición o de horas de motor del bus CAN.
